A team of thirteen divers from Southampton Diving Academy travelled to the 'St Albans Dive In' competition on 9th May and it proved to be a successful outing. The team dived well under the watchful eye of coach Christine Aukett.
First to dive were the youngest of our team members and golds were achieved in both the boys and girls events. Emily Martin (8) dived consistently and was rewarded with a gold medal whilst Harrison Williams (8) took gold in the boys' event and team mate Ben Hufton (9) took the silver. Peter Dowse (8) narrowly missed out on a medal position, finishing in 4th place.
Also successful in the older groups were William Wiseman who took third place and Nicole Woodbridge took 4th place in her Event.
