Skills, Age Group Squads
Competed at an International level on platform as a junior, currently a senior national level diver.
In their own words:
I went to my first Junior International competition in April 2011 when I was selected to represent Great Britain in Dresden, Germany where I qualified for finals and placed 9th. I was then selected to compete in Dresden again the following year, where I placed 9th again.
I’ve been involved in Elite level sport since the age of 5 when I was a gymnast. I’ve competed in lots of different sports including Rugby and Latin and Ballroom dancing before I started diving 4 years ago when I was 14. Now I’ve committed myself to being a full-time diver, I spend most of my time at the pool training or working part-time as a coach and diving administrator.
Outside of work and diving I try to spend as much time as possible seeing old college friends. My guilty pleasure is Harry Potter, with which I’m a little bit obsessed!
In September I made the decision to put my education on hold and become a full-time senior diver. My aim over the next 4 years is to compete at Senior International competitions such as the Senior Europeans and Diving World Series, and hopefully one day the Olympics.
Once I’ve finished my diving career, I hope either to go to university and study biomedical sciences or become a full-time diving coach.
