CAMO

Four of Southampton's top divers were selected to represent Great Britain at the Camo Diving Competition in Montreal, Canada last week. Peter Waterfield (26), Monique McCarroll (26), Blake Aldridge (25) and Stacie Powell (22) flew out with the 14 strong British team to train for 5 days before competing against some of the top divers in the world and came back with four medals between them.

Luton

Twenty six divers from Southampton Diving Academy travelled to Luton to compete in the Kingfisher Challenge on 23rd and 24th November, returning with the team trophy and 22 medals.

Southampton diver Monique McCarroll (26) travelled to Holland to compete in the Dutch Open Diving Competition on 24th November, returning with a silver medal.

Twelve novice divers from Southampton Diving Academy, who train at the Quays Swimming and Diving Complex, travelled to Cologne in Germany to compete in the Niesen Cup and came back with two medals.

Divers from Southampton Diving Academy brought the English Schools' National team trophy back home with them after they took the Division 12 to the top of the league table in Plymouth on 17th November, tying for the title with Division 3 from Yorkshire.

A team of eight divers from the Masters squad of Southampton Diving Academy enjoyed another successful outing for the club when they competed at the Great Britain Diving Federation British Masters Championships in Hatfield last week, coming home with a clutch of medals including a clean sweep in the Men's 40 – 49 years event.
