Gavin's Memorial Service

A celebration of Gavin's life was held on Friday 20th July at 3.30pm at St Mark's Church, Archers Road, followed by games and a BBQ at BAT Club in Totton.

SEVEN budding young divers from Southampton and the surrounding area attended a series of master classes on Friday June 1st with Olympic and Commonwealth diver Peter Waterfield.

Gavin's Memorial Fund

Gavin's funeral was held on Wednesday 23rd May, followed by a private cremation for the family only. There will be some form of celebration of Gavin's life to be held during July in Southampton, details yet to be arranged. A fund has been set up in Gavin's memory primarily to help defray the costs of the funeral and any other events of thanksgiving for his life. Should there be any surplus, the money will be used to create a lasting memorial for Gavin, or be donated in his name to a charity of his family's choice. The fund will be administered by The Friends of Southampton Diving Academy (FOSDA). Should you wish to make a contribution, cheques made payable to "FOSDA" should be posted to:

Gavin Brown

It is with great regret that we have to announce the death of diver and coach Gavin Brown who was killed in the early hours of Saturday 28th April in a hit and run incident in Southampton. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.
