FLORA LONDON MARATHON
Thank You For Sponsoring Me!
My marathon day started early and I arrived at Blackheath at 8am in the morning feeling very nervous. Even then the atmosphere at the start area was fantastic. It took me 45 minutes to reach the start line but then I was off in one of the biggest marathons in the world.

I hope you all had an enjoyable summer break and welcome back to the autumn term of diving. Firstly many thanks to all those who attend the Easter picnic and the get together at Lepe Country Park. Some more informal get togethers will be planned for next year.
The first FOSDA Easter picnic in the New Forest. The youngsters had an Easter egg hunt finding all but a few of the eggs and two snakes into the bargain. The afternoon finished with egg and spoon races and a Easter bonnet competition.
The autumn term contains three diving competitions Peter Waterfield Novice Invitational, Southampton Invitational and Love to Dive. FOSDA would greatly appreciate your support at these events. If you would like to volunteer to help out for a short period during one of these events please email Francis Angove (FOSDA vice chair at francis@lordangove.demon.co.uk) or Annie Clewlow. If you are unable to help please could you donate a raffle prize.
Up and coming events include the Tesco's sports vouchers. Details to follow as soon as they are available to us. Hopefully we can beat last year's total. Please keep an eye on the FOSDA notice board at the Quays for all information. The FOSDA AGM will be held in November. I look forward to seeing you there.
